Administrative Assistant -Dispatcher

Position Description:  An hourly position in which the administrative assistant answers phones, schedules and dispatches service calls, and processes technician work orders. The admin assistant should demonstrate excellent phone skills including friendly tone, proper diction, and thorough note taking. As primary scheduling contact, the dispatcher must maintain awareness of the technician locations and progress, make adjustments to the schedule as needed, and keep customers informed of delays or scheduling changes.  Additional duties include, maintaining rapport and tracking work performed by outside contractors, work order processing, creating final invoices from work orders, collecting necessary information from new customers, and establishing payment options and collecting payments over the phone. The Dispatcher also provides office support to technician department by processing notes for follow-up service and working with others in Administration ensuring parts are ordered and processed for timely return trips.
