Central BBQ is seeking an all-star Commissary Manager to oversee the food production at our commercial kitchen which supplies 10 of our BBQ restaurants.  You will oversee meat smoking, recipe preparation, and the management of the 15 existing kitchen staff. Please note, this position is located in Passaic, NJ.

The Commissary Manager will be responsible for:
- Daily ordering and purchasing of food product for entire commissary kitchen

- Responsible for daily food production and packing daily restaurant orders
- Managing the food product inventory through pre-set pars 
- Strictly monitoring and controlling inventory to cost control, eliminate waste, ensure proper receiving, storage and controls 
- Maintaining the facilities of the commissary kitchen: keeping supplies organized, scheduling equipment repairs, ensuring operation of all kitchen equipment
- Overseeing our high standards of the commissary: responsible for ensuring a clean facility and Satisfactory grade
- Competitive management of vendor pricing in an effort to improve quality and reduce costs

- Proactive labor and schedule management
- Work closely with our executive chef to oversee the rollout of new recipes and menu items

Candidates must have:
-Bachelor's degree
-5+ years experience working in high-volume commissary kitchen
-DOH Food Handler's and/or serve safe certification
-Must work well in a team environment and communicate clearly and professionally with our crew
