The Broken Yolk Café is a Breakfast & Lunch concept that started in San Diego in 1979. We have several franchised locations throughout southern and central California, Arizona, Florida and Illinois. Now we are coming to La Verne! We are looking for hard-working, enthusiastic people to join our team and grow with us.
We are looking for experienced Shift Leads of Assistant Managers who can handle large volume, have experience in quick turnover for tables, and can maintain a positive enthusiastic attitude throughout their day.
Primary duties are as follows:
- Manage labor on server floor with regards to business flow
- Assist General Manager with scheduling of staff
- Assist General Manager with ordering, purchasing and stocking the food, alcohol, and dry goods in a timely manner
- Maintain Guest satisfaction by resolving guest complaints promptly
- Ensure that employees follow the company standards, policies and strategies
- Cooperate with General Manager in recruiting, training, payroll processing, performance evaluation, promotions, and releasing the employees
- Provide good customer service throughout guest experience
- Greeting guests and take guest food orders
- Deliver food, bus tables, table maintenance
- Processing Payments
- Various cleaning duties as needed
- Must be able to lift, bend, and carry up to 50 lbs
- All other restaurant duties as needed
