We're looking for a General Manager for our Culver City/ Palms restaurant that is excited to develop and mentor a great team, passionate in delivering exceptional hospitality and service to customers, and the driven to execute the ongoing vision for Doughroom

As a manager, you will be responsible for leading and driving the daily operations and oversee the kitchen and dining space to ensure a positive guest experience. In addition to dine-in service, a lot of business comes from pick-up (in-house and 3rd party) and in-house deliveries, requiring constant management of various revenue streams.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all restaurant operations- ensuring all departments have what they need to succeed and keep them running smoothly
  • Handle payroll, tips, scheduling and labor management
  • A desire to learn and train others on all aspects of restaurant operations
  • Meeting key financial objectives while boosting sales, and continuing to deliver quality food and experience
  • Nurturing and upholding an encouraging, fun, family-like work environment
  • Manage all functions of our daily checklist and shift operations
  • Drive excellence and standards with inventory, quality and safety
  • Creating a hospitable and attentive environment for our customers to not only enjoy their time at Doughroom, but also spread the word about us
  • Fostering positive relationships between Doughroom and the community

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of management experience in fast-paced, fast casual restaurants 
  • Exceptional training, development, and communication skills with the ability to resolve conflict and provide direction to grow team members
  • Broad understanding of financial aspects of the business
  • Experience working in a hands-on, fast-paced, high volume environment and adapting in various situations and interactions with people
  • Knowledge of building and implementing systems
  • Warm, caring and positive attitude that drives hospitality and inspires others to do
  • Basic Word and Excel skills
  • Able to lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Must be Manager ServSafe certified
  • Open, flexible availability
